

About Moira
State Representative Moira Rader was elected in November 2022 & re-elected in 2024 to represent the 98th District of Guilford and Branford. In her first term, she served on the Education, Environment, Public Health committees & the Select Committee on Special Education. In her second term, she has served on the Education, Planning & Development, Regulations Review committees and as Vice Chair of the Finance, Revenue & Bonding committee.
Moira earned her Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University and her Master of Science from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Rep. Rader recently concluded 8 years of service on the Guilford Board of Education: four years as Vice Chair.
Moira and her husband Peter, an architect and member of the Guilford Standing Building committee, have four children and live in the Mulberry Point neighborhood of Guilford.
